Arthur Hasketh Groom

Arthur Hasketh Groom (1846-1918) founded the Kobe Golf Club on May 24, 1903 which was Japan's first ever golf club. Groom was a long-term resident of Kobe and the club is on Mount Rokko overlooking the city.
