Arthur Dobbs

Arthur Dobbs (2 April 1689-March 28, 1765) was a colonial governor and writer on trade. Dobbs wrote an Essay on the Trade and Improvement of Ireland in two parts (1728 and 1730). He was Governor of North Carolina 1754-1765.
