Arthur Abraham (born Avetik Abrahamyan in Yerevan, Armenia) is the current IBF champion of the middleweight division. He won the vacant title on December 10, 2005, in Leipzig, Germany, beating Kingsley Ikeke, via 5 round knock-out. He has since made three successful defences of the title. On September 23, 2006 he won a 12 round fight against Edison Miranda despite having his jaw broken in round 4.
He trains under Ulli Wegner in Berlin, Germany, and managed by Wilfried Sauerland.
