Does anyone know if it would be okay to include an image of an actual postage stamp, or is it inappropriate because the design is copyright Royal Mail? Brandenburg5 01:25, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)

They're probably copyright of RM although you could argue fair use. In any case, we already have a perfectly good image of the Machin postage head without the extraneous value! -- Arwel 10:39, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Arwel, you have forgotten to mention that Arnold Machin's portrait of Queen Elizabeth II was used on 2 sets of pre-decimal coinage - Rhodesia (1964-68) & Gambia (1966-70). See my article Coins of Rhodesia for more information. - (Aidan Work 00:49, 17 November 2005 (UTC))
