Arno Hintjens

Arno Hintjens (usually referred to as Arno) (Ostend, May 21, 1949) is a Belgian artist from Ostend. He was the frontman of the group TC Matic, after the split in 1986 he went solo.

Hintjens sings partly in Dutch, English, French and Ostend dialect and his musical style can be defined as "european rock". Famous songs include "Oh La La La", "Putain Putain", "Je Veux Nager", "Jive To The Beat" and "Forget The Cold Sweat". In 2002 he received the title "Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres" (Knight in the Arts and Literature) of the French government
