[edit] Welcome

Hello, Arman pablico, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}

[edit] "GMA Programs" category
Hi. I noticed that you created a category for GMA programs. I am unsure that it's necessary, and was hoping you'd justify necessity. Could you please reply here? Thanks. --Mercurio 07:17, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm. While I was blabbing here, an admin went ahead and deleted the category. --Mercurio 15:32, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please elaborate
What exactly are you doing with the page America Stars? Please explain since it will create a really large page and you added a person from Venezula. Yanksox 04:59, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of Tel. Nos. (Davao)
Please read WP:NOT, which describes what Wikipedia is not. Phone book entries would choke Wikipedia. Imagine what the list of telephone numbers for Los Angeles or Hong Kong would be like. --John Nagle 05:36, 25 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please stop creating lists.
Arman, please read: Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. It more appropriate to classify subjects using categories which can be used to create lists automatically. -- Netsnipe CVU (Talk) 09:56, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Proposed deletion
I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Journalists directory (Philippines), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Journalists directory (Philippines). If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Aguerriero (talk) 22:14, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
I have also added this template to several of your other articles, as they are non-notable and do not belong here. As previous editors have suggested, please read WP:NOT for guidelines on what belongs in this encyclopedia. Thanks! --Aguerriero (talk) 22:26, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your recent additions to articles Testigo.
Please do not add the list of studio cameramen in the article. It violates a policy of Wikipedia (see WP:NOT).
[edit] License tagging for Image:Sonshine Media Network International.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Sonshine Media Network International.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:06, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Template:Infobox Film
Please make sure that you read a whole template page before you edit it because the information there is transcluded to hundreds of pages. If you would like to make any changes to the template in question, please ask for feedback at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Films. Thanks, Cbrown1023 04:32, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Nonsense articles
[edit] Mr. Swave
Welcome to Wikipedia! We could really use your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Mr. Swave) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Seraphimblade 09:15, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Hapinas laugh.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Hapinas laugh.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz Saalfeld (Talk) 15:58, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
