Talk:Armenian dram
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
isn't it with a T, as in tram? I have never heard it pronounced as if it began with a "d."
- Pronunciation does not always have to go according to the rules of the English language... ;) After all, German Hund sounds more like "hunt" to Englishmen. —Nightstallion (?) Seen this already? 19:17, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
It's pronounced as "tram" in the Western Armenian dialect, the Republic uses the Eastern Armenian dialect where it's pronounced as "dram".--Eupator 16:43, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
