[edit] Plot

Kim tells Greg that her father flew in and is making his cabbage soup. Greg says he made his soup because Don knows that he hates it. Kim tells him to not get in a fight like last time. Don is upset because Greg refuses to eat the soup. Jimmy has a softball game coming up, but Christine doesn’t want to go. Don splashes soup on his sleeve so Kim gives him a pair of sleeve guards that she made to prevent splashing. Christine tells Kim that she should sell her sleeve guards. Kim says she is too busy to sell them. Jimmy starts singing and Christine decides to attend his game.

Kim comes home with supplies to make her sleeve guards and sell them at a craft fair. Kim tells Greg to watch Sam while she goes for more supplies. Kim tells him if her sleeve guards sell well he could become a stay-at-home dad. When she leaves, Jimmy and Don tell Greg that it is a stupid idea. Greg asks them why they encouraged her, they tell her because that is what she wanted to hear. Greg is stressed from doing the housework.

Kim comes home and tells Greg that she named her sleeve guards Arm-prins, but he doesn’t understand even after Kim explains it to him. Greg tells her he hope it works out, but if it doesn’t she gave it her all. She asks Greg if he really thinks it is a good idea. Greg confesses that it is a stupid idea. Kim tells him this is from the same idiot who put hamburgers in the toaster oven. Kim yells at him for lying. Kim tells him that Arm-prins will be the best seller at the craft fair. Greg says he would roll his sleeves up before he spends $10 on Arm-prins.

One of the players for Jimmy’s softball game didn’t show up so his boss asks Christine to fill-in. Jimmy’s boss tells him they have enough male players and cuts him. Greg puts in a Blue’s Clues tape to distract Sam while he goes to the bathroom. Greg tries to turn off the tape when he is finished with the bathroom, but Sam cries. Greg decides to let him watch it once. Every time he tries to turn it off, Sam cries. After watching the same video twelve times Greg dreams that he is in the video as Steve. He is about to start a game of Blue’s Clues when Jimmy appears and rescues him.

Meanwhile at the craft fair, Kim’s Arm-prins are a disaster. Don yells at the customers. Greg shows up and without Kim’s knowledge and gives a guy money to buy Arm-prins from Kim, but the guy runs out the door with the money. When she gets home, Kim tells Greg that all the Arm-prins sold. Don walks in the door carry the boxes of Arm-prins. Kim tells him he was suppose to drop those off at Goodwill. Don tells her they refused them. Greg tells Kim he didn’t want her to fail. Greg tells Kim he did a horrible job taking care of Sam during the week and that she does a great job being a stay-at-home mom.
