Aristos (Saga of the Skolian empire)

Aristos refers to the group of anti-empaths incapable of compassion who rule the Eubian Concord in Catherine Asaro's novels regarding the Saga of the Skolian Empire.
Aristos form the top-most echelon of Eubian society. Aristos comprise three main categories:
- Highton - control the government of the Eubian Concord.
- Diamond - control the finance of the Eubian Concord.
- Silicate - control the means of pleasure of the Eubian Concord.
Aristo wealth is based on a slave population of approximately two trillion. There are also several thousand providers who allow the Aristos to experience transcendence.
