Arindam

Arindam means the man who has won all his enemies. According to Hindu mythology, the tragic hero Indrajit, son of Ravana, the asura king of Lanka, got this title after he conquered his enemies. In Eastern part of India, Arindam is a popular name among the Bengalis. In Bengali, it is pronounced as "O-Reen-Dom".
Arindam is another name of lord Shiva.
It is one of the many names which has the word Ari (enemy) as the root.
