Arifs (gang)

The Arifs are a South London-based Turkish criminal organization heavily involved in armed robbery, drug trafficking operations and other racketeering related activities within London's underworld since the late 1970s, among whose associates include Clifford Hobbs [1]. Led by the brothers Dennis and Mehmet Arif until their conviction for armed robbery in May 1991, the organization has been involved in a decade long gang war between the Dailey and Brindle gangs which has resulted in eight deaths since 1990.
