Rugby wasn't brough to South Aeerica by British there wasn't a good amount of British immigrants in other countries except for Argentina, it was brough to ARGENTINA. Besides we are talking about the Argentinian team so I don't kbow why we have to refer to the entire continent, when they have other history, ethnic and culture.
- You can change it, if you like but it is still accurate (to my knowledge). Argentina was the first South American country to get rugby and it was brought by British migrants. Most other South American countries have hardly heard of rugby (no Britons).GordyB 20:10, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
YES gordy that was my point that in Argentina rugby is famous because of the English and Welsh immigrants during the 19th and early 20th century , but not in other countries of the Americas. And certainly in other countries of Latin America.

I recommend moving this page to "Los Pumas", in line with All Blacks, Las Leonas, etc. I think anyone looking for info on this team will search for Pumas, as they are universally known, and not "argentina national rugby union team"... ironcito 08:58, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
- The Pumas is not sufficiently well known to justify a move. Whilst the 'All Blacks' are well enough known even by people who don't follow rugby union, the Pumas are not. As for 'Las Leonas' - I have no idea who they are.GordyB 12:47, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
