Arfak Mountains

The Arfak Mountains are a mountain range found on the Bird's Head Peninsula in the Province of West Irian Jaya, Indonesia. The mountain range is rugged and remote, raising up to 7,700 feet above sea level. Found near the town of Manokwari, the mountains are an important and threatened site of biodiversity, part of the Vogelkop Montane Rain Forests Ecoregion.
