Arese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 12 km northwest of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 19,333 and an area of 6.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Arese contains the frazione (subdivision) Valera.
