The Arena District is a 75-acre, mixed-use urban infill, master planned development located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. It is characterized by its New Urbanism layout, mixed-use, and neo-classical American design. The architecture is of the Chicago School style, being influenced by Daniel Burnham in particular. A condominium project bearing his name pays tribute to his influence. This neighborhood features a variety of restaurants, office space, entertainment venues and residencies. The District surrounds Nationwide Arena, home of the Columbus Blue Jackets. The area has seen over $500 million in investments since being formed in the late 1990s. Numerous further developments are planned such as Huntington Park, which will be the new home for the Columbus Clippers, as well as additional residential and commercial development. The Arena District is developed, managed and marketed by Nationwide Realty Investors, the real estate development affiliate of Nationwide, who is headquartered in Columbus.

Before its creation, in the late 1990s, the area was home to the closed-down Ohio Penitentiary.
