I've made a start on this. There is much more to put in. I didn't start the War of Independence section, which would be quite large if the words of an IRA recruiter in Kerry at the time- to the effect that he wouldn't bother going looking for men anywhere in Kerry where there were no mountains- are to be believed. And then we have Seán Ó Briain, the school teacher from Baile an Fheirtéaraigh who was Brendan Behan's mentor and teacher of Irish during their times in prison for IRA activity. Also, I will have to consult An Seabhac (Pádraig Ó Siochfhradha)'s book for more about the area. El Gringo 02:46, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

I've posted this article in the last week or so, and put some comment on your talk page. I wonder if you could post a non-copyright-vio photo there of the view from the Dingle peninsula down to the Great Blasket (showing the gap to an Carraig Fhada).
