Ardleigh is a village and civil parish in the Tendring district of Essex, England, about five miles north-east of Colchester. The parish had a population of 2081 according to the 2001 census.
The Great Eastern main railway line passes close to the village but the railway station is closed. The Ardleigh Reservoir is about 1 km away.
