Ardashir Vakil

Ardashir Vakil is an author whose first novel, Beach Boy, won a Betty Trask Award in 1997 and was shortlisted for the Whitbread First Novel Award.
Born in Bombay and educated at The Doon School, he now lives in London with his wife Georgia, daughters Tara and Natasha, and cat Stanley. He teaches English at the Hornsey School for Girls and creative writing at Goldsmith's University.
