This cannot be accurate as, when the Archangel was commissioned, the Neutron-Jammer Canceller technology had not been obtained by the EAF. This means that the Archangel's engines CANNOT be nuclear in nature. 68.164.159.94 09:49, 17 June 2005
- A thermonuclear pulse engine functions by using lasers to ignite small fusion explosions. Neutron Jammers don't have any effect on them. It's only fission that N-Jammers block. 68.47.175.214 06:29, 17 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Positron Cannons Removed?
Anyone notice that in SEED Desntiny the archangel's positron cannons seems to be missing?
A positron cannon being fired in Earth's atmosphere can cause gamma ray radiation to pollute the surrounding environment, so Murrue Ramius avoided using it in combat on Earth.
[edit] Similarity Archangel and Minerva
About the deleted text per 22:21, 10 August 2006:
"LHM-BB01 Minerva, ZAFT's ship which has similar features with Archangel class assault ships. Gilbert Durandal, who was chairman of PLANT Supreme Council, in one occasion, even state that Minerva is designed to take a similar role of the Archangel"
As far as I can remember, Durandal said Minerva is designed to take a similar role of the Archangel. I don't think he only wished Minerva would take similar role. In my humble opinion, the design spec is quite similar. Take notes on the weaponry and the twin hull design. Any comment on this? Draconins 03:01, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
