Arctic Hospital (Eric Patterson Bray born January 11, 1978 in Madison, Wisconsin) is an American DJ and record producer. He began DJing industrial and EBM at age 14, and began producing urban techno on a Macintosh using the software sequencer Logic when he was 17. In 2004, Eric Bray received his big break when Narita Records owner Gabe Koch saw him open for seminal techno DJ John Digweed and immediately signed him to his record label.
Arctic Hospital also performs in the band Semble, playing laptop alongside Steve James (vocals, guitar, piano, mbira, glockenspiel, drums), Beth Perry (vocals, flute, cello, marimba, synth, piano, guitar), Matt Kelly (guitar, violin, percussion, zither, accordion, saw, mbira, laptop/sampler).

For an artist with such a limited discography, Arctic Hospital has attracted a surprising amount of negative attention. Criticism has come from sources as diverse as Rolling Stone to Tekno Hitz to Pitchfork Media. The criticisms themselves are varied as well. Some have labeled his music "repetitive, yet somehow not driving, even at the loudest of volumes" [citation needed] while others have commented that his music is "inconsistent but always, always banal. If the music were made at random with no real plan or purpose, it would at least hint at interestingness, if only by accident. But his does not, so we must assume he is making a concentrated effort at producing music this poor." [citation needed]
