Archippus

Archippus (literally, "master of the horse"), a Christian believer mentioned briefly in the New Testament epistles of Philemon and the Colossians.
In Paul's letter to Philemon (1.1), Archippus is named once alongside Philemon and Aphhia as a host of the church, and a 'fellow soldier'. In the epistle to the Colossians 4.17 (a work ascribed to Paul), the church is instructed to tell Archippus to "complete the task that you have received in the Lord.". No other information is given in the New Testament.
Tradition says he was one of the 70 disciples (Luke 10:1).[citation needed]
