Archdiocese of Cashel and Emly

Cashel is one of the four Archdioceses in Ireland. The others are Armagh (seat of the Primate of All Ireland), Dublin (seat of the Primate of Ireland) and Tuam.

- 1875 - Thomas Croke, the most well-known, in whose honour the Gaelic Athletic Association stadium Croke Park in Dublin is named. Resigned 1896
