Arcenius is the name of the Franco-Taliano revolutionary radical whose goal was to create an empire stretching from the Adriatic Sea, where Italy borders Slovenia, to what is now known as southern France.

Not much is known about this figure today since most records about him were either destroyed or never recorded.

He was born in 1789 and died in 1823. Defeated and humiliated by his foe, his family moved to Slovenia to escape embarrassment they would have to face at home.
