[edit] A little about me

Hello, this is my page, Arabic Pilot for those of you who don't know me. I am a proud Muslim, and learning Arabic currently, as well as Spanish, because I live in South Florida, "donde todos los cubanos viven" (where all the Cubans leave) :).

[edit] The love of computers

I love computers and all forms of computing. Please feel free to ask anything about them to me, I can't ever get enough of them. I'm currently trying my hand in freelance programming, and I should have my first program (a Web Design tool, like Dreamweaver or Visual Web Developer) out in a few months, and here you can see my progress on it (at the "Software Progress" section)

[edit] My software

So far, I have no software out, but here is a list of software I am either working on, or starting work on.

  • WebDev Architect
  • Mac style .NET Framework

[edit] WebDev Architect

This will be a proof that great freeware can be developed. It will either be developed under .NET using Visual C# Express Edition, or using Java (no outstanding Java editors, so I'll use Notepad). Some features I hope to include are:

  • Code Completion
  • XHTML Compliant WYSIWYG Editor
  • Built in browser compatability checking
  • Spellchecker and grammarchecker with code regicnition
  • Several .chm files referencing things like HTML, JavaScript, etc. and learning resources on them
  • Customizable user interface, and look and feel
  • Complete support for multiple languages (like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VBScript, DOM, XML, XSLT, SVG, RSS, etc)
  • Office 2007 convert-to-HTML (other versions of Office will be added as I can find the file format specifications)
  • Code optimizer
  • Built in browser for viewing
  • VBScript-to-JavaScript conversion
  • Complete syntax highlighting
  • WYSIWYG environment for SVG
  • More features may be added soon

[edit] Mac style .NET Framework

No name for this project was actually chosen as yet, so I am just describing it. Basically, it will extend upon some of the WinForms controls to look and feel like Mac. It will also include a layout engine, sort of like Java's, to position the controls according to the Apple User Interface Guidelines (padding, sizing, etc).

[edit] Anything else?

If anyone wants to contact me about anything they saw me post on or edit on Wikipedia, or on any of my software (when they come out, of course), please freely contact me at AARON1292@aol.com. NOTE: ALL SPAMMERS WILL BE PERMANENTLY BLOCKED UPON FIRST OFFENSE. NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU WANT ME TO TAKE ANY "MEDICATIONS", TRY THEM YOURSELF FIRST.
