The intention of this template is to provide a quick and easy way to document a case for Wikipedia:Abuse reports in the style of Wikipedia:Abuse reports/Example of case in contact, from which this template is shamelessly bitten.

Where:

• ip = The IP address of the vandal whom the case is about
• user = The investigator of the case, probably you
• summary = A summary of the IP's vandalism. You should also provide diffs of the vandalism and links to the warnings issued, but it's probably easier to do this after the template has been substed in (although it's certainly possible to do it inside the template if you'd like).

Don't forget to fill out all the other information that isn't included in this template, such as contact and registration info (at the top). Also, don't forget to remove the commenting at the bottom once contact is made, to leave the section headers for you to fill out.
