It is generally expected amongst civilised society that one discusses differences, rather than provoking conflict. Rather than advocating the reversion of changes done for a very good reason (see WP:LIVING - it is non-negotiable), advocate instead a discussion, a search for the evidence, or some means to solve the conflict.
