Apricena is a town and comune in the province of Foggia in the Apulia region of southeast Italy. It is at 42 km frmo Foggia.
The communal territory is mainly plain, with cultivations of olives, cereals and wine. The economy is centred on the excavation of stone, the pietra di Apricena being exported also to Germany, Japan and China.
