The Pohar family has been breeding horses for over 500 years. Since 1980 they have been breeding Lipizzan horses. They have a breeding centre in a small town called Brezje in the Gorenjska region in Slovenia.

Their aim is to raise good horses for horseback riding, dressage and carriage driving.
