Apodachlya is a genus of water mould within the order Leptomitales.

Hyphae

They are characterized by the structure of their hyphae, which are constricted into septae-like structures which enclose cellulin plugs which prevent loss of cytoplasm in the case of cell rupture.

Zoosporangia

The are characterized by their pear-shaped zoospores. These zoospores encyst at the tip in a manner similar to the genus Achyla.
