Description

The aperture grille of a 25" television monitor (Sony KV-25FX20D) in close-up, showing the stabilizing wire, which is not visible to the naked eye. When displayed on a 15" monitor set to its optimum resolution (1024x768 pixels), the final photo has a magnification of about 40x.

Photo taken with a Canon Powershot A95 camera and some additional equipment (a Pentax K mount 50 mm f:1.7 lens and a simple convex lens taken off a magnifying glass) to achieve the magnification.
