[edit] Quotes

  • Edie: Wow, look at you. You look so pretty. I hardly even recognize you.
Susan: I have a date with Mike. We kissed, FYI.
(Susan leaves Edie and comes back after Mike tells her he has to reschedule due to an unexpected house guest)
Edie: How was your big date?
    Susan: Mike had to reschedule.
Edie: Awww...because of the hot girl? With the suitcase? Over there? Gosh, how devastating for you. FYI?
  • Jerry Shaw: Sometimes evil drives a minivan.
  • (Paul is selling his house and Edie is his realtor)
Edie: You do realize you have to disclose the fact that your wife died in the house.
    Paul: I do?
Edie: Oh, yeah. Legal crap. It might be a little hard to sell because people can get freaked out by suicides. You can't blame them. Hell, I get the willies just standing here.
Paul: Is there any way I can get around it?
    Edie: Off the record?
    Paul: Yeah.
Edie: Well, you could say that she shot herself in the house and crawled out back to die.
  • Julie: (to Susan) I always assumed I'd have sex for the first time before you had it again.
