Anwar Kamal Khan

Anwar Kamal Khan Mina Khel is the current Parliamentary Leader of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) in the NWFP's Provincial Assembly. He is the elder son of Khan Habibullah Khan and older brother of a senior Pakistani Civil Servant Akhter Munir Khan Marwat[citation needed]. Earlier he has also remained a Senator in addition to being a Senior Provincial Minister.[1][2]
He has been leader of Qabaili Lashkar (group of tribesmen), many times and is the only leader who commanded them when they have consisted of 15,000 - 20,000 men [citation needed].
He also was leader of a Lashkar group of tribesmen that succeeded in gaining the release of Ghazni Khel teachers held captive by Arsalla Khan. This resulted in popularising him even in Ghazni Khel whose leaders failed to gain the release of captives from their own clan.[citation needed]

Anwar Kamal swithched many politcal parties. In 1977 he was in Pakistan Peoples Party but heavily defeated by Maulana Ahmad Jan of Ghazni Khel. He then swithched to Zia Ul Haq and became Majlis Shora Member. In 1988 he was elected on IJI ticket but became the leader of commonly know as Lota group. In 1990 he was defeated by Mashal Khan Begu Khel. In politics he habitual to cross the floors.
