Anuj Sharma

Anuj Sharma (born August 27, 1975 in Himachal, India and currently living in Mumbai) is a singer who is best known for placing third in Indian Idol 2, the Indian version of Pop Idol.

He has an MA in vocal music from Amritsar University. His family consists of his parents, brother and sister. He was eliminated in the piano rounds but after Jolly's elimination due to [[chicken pox he was brought back in the fourth gala round. "Tumhari aawaz Himachali seb ki tarah meethi hai," said Anu Malik when he heard Anuj Sharma sing in the audition round. That's when this contestant from Himachal Pradesh was reassured that his Indian Idol dream could turn reality.
