Anuar Tahir is the founder and current chairman of Community Development Foundation (Yayasan Pembangunan Ummah), Malaysia. Through this organisation, he was involved in several peace missions, noticeably his mission in helping Afghanistan refugees in the Pakistan border refugees camp. In this mission, CDF worked along with Global Peace Malaysia and the United Nations.
