[edit] Possibly unfree Image:Class334 3-car juniper.jpg

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Class334 3-car juniper.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. Please go to its page for more information if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Vclaw 15:47, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
The situation has been resolved positively, with the picture of the Class 334 Juniper (which is in use all over Wikipedia and which would be missed gravley) being kept on Wikipedia. This message is posted for all those interested.

[edit] Welcome to Esperanza!

Welcome, Anthony cfc, to Esperanza! As you might know, all the Esperanzians share one important goal: the success of this encyclopedia. Within that, we then attempt to strengthen the community bonds, and be the "approachable" side of the project. All of our ideals are held in the Charter, the governing document of the association.

Now that you are a member you should read the guide to what to do now or you may be interested in some of our programs. A quite important program is Stressbusters, which seeks to support editors who have encountered any stress from their Wikipedia events, and are seeking to leave the project. So far, Esperanza can be credited with the support and retention of several users. We will send you newsletters to keep you up to date. Also, we have a calendar of special events, member birthdays, and other holidays that you can add to and follow.

In addition to these projects, several more missions of Esperanza are in development, and are currently being created at Esperanza/Proposals.

If you have any other questions, concerns, comments, or general ideas, Esperanzian or otherwise, know that you can always contact Natalya by email or talk page. Consider introducing yourself at the Esperanza talk page! Alternatively, you could communicate with fellow users via our IRC channel, #wikipedia-esperanza (which is also good for a fun chat or two :). If you're new to IRC, you may find help at an IRC tutorial. I thank you for joining Esperanza, and look forward to working with you in making Wikipedia a better place to work!

[edit] tachiguishi-retsuden

don't you have better things to do than vandalism? [1] Buenaparte Social Club 14:57, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm sorry, what are you talking about? --Anthonycfc Talk to Me (sandbox) (E-Count)
just check your edit (the link i've posted) and compare it with my previous version. your summary states "remove double ]]" but you only removed my recent edit: a phrase i had to rewrote as it has disappeared. Don't know if it was voluntary or not. anyway i've fixed it. Buenaparte Social Club 15:02, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
Firstly, it was unintentional and I apologise to anybody who tried to read this article and yet were impaired by me edit.
Secondly, just have a glance over all the anti-vandalism projects I am involved in; WP:RCP, WP:GNOME, etc.. Do you really think I mean Wikipedia harm? Just to let you know, you will never get anywhere in Wikipedia branding other users vandals. Maybe you should have a think before you write down comments like that in future.
--Anthonycfc Talk to Me (sandbox) (E-Count)

hey take it easy man, i dunno you. i just had to correct a vandalism-like edit just before that's why i tought it was vandalism again. Buenaparte Social Club 15:17, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

No hard feelings intended.

That's exactly what i was about to reply ;) Buenaparte Social Club 15:17, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Cool, cheers. See you around.

[edit] VandalSniper

Thanks for applying to use VandalSniper! You have been approved. If have not already done so, you may find instructions to install VS on the project page.

As some of the libraries VandalSniper runs on are currently in transition, there have been a few issues reported with setup. At the moment, Linux is the most compatible platform for VS. If you have questions or problems, you may find help on the project page or its talk page. Please also feel free to contact me for help and I will do my best to assist you.

Thanks for becoming a part of one of Wikipedia's best new software tools! -- Omicronpersei8 (talk) 16:44, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your sig is long.

Have you considered using the 5 tilde date stamp (~~~~~) sequence instead of that mess of individual date templates? I believe that would shrink your sig by almost an entire line in the edit box. --tjstrf 04:48, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Yes I have considered it and no I don't think I will be doing that anytime soon. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

[edit] Signature

How can I create a sig to make it be: Teh tennisman, then superscript small green font 'speak your piece' for my talk page? i notice ppl with them, and i'd like mine like that Teh tennisman 20:01, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey there; if you're looking how to get the colour etc.. then you might want to take a look at the code I use for my own signature; the code is located on my sandbox (see my userpage for a link). Basically, to get the sig you're looking for it would be something along the lines of "Teh tennisman<font color="#008000"><span style="font-size: 1">  speak your piece</span></font>" which becomes >Teh tennisman  speak your piece.
Hope I've helped, and don't forget to view my Sandbox were the code for my signature is to get a more detailed code! Cheers

[edit] Award

I noticed that you don't have any awards yet. I apologize for the neglect, you are long overdue an award... Thus I am glad to be the first to provide you with some recognition. Hopefully it shall the the first of many awards to come in your Wikipedia journey. :-) Best regards.--Húsönd 15:04, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your signature

Please alter your signature. What you have at the moment,

CURRENTTIME CURRENTDAY2 CURRENTMONTHABBREV CURRENTYEAR (UTC) {}

needs substitution thingies in it, otherwise the current date and time will be displayed instead of the date and time that the comment was made. Please change it to this:

    (UTC) {}

Thanks. jd || talk || 21:41, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Greetings, stealer of talkpage headers :P (j/k)

I took the liberty of linking the images on your userpage to their respective pages, which imho is nicer than just the text links. Feel free to revert, and thank you for your MedCom support :) —Xyrael / 20:07, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

You may wish to note that your boxes are stretched lengthways a little, so it's up to you if you're happy to make this compromise. Hope I've been helpful. —Xyrael / 20:14, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Hey there. Firstly, you're welcome (for your Meditation Committee nomination support); secondly, thanks for the images link fix - yeah it is nicer. And lastly, what do you mean by "stretched lenthways" - what does that mean!

Once again cheers for the advice. Again good luck for Med.Committee nominations.

--Anthonycfc (Talk to Me) (sandbox) (E-Count) 17:14 17 Oct 2006 (UTC)

PS: I know I'm such a copycat but your header was so great I just couuudn't resist :)

Heh, no problem. Take a look at the screen before and after; you should see that the box is a slightly different size. At least, it is in my browser.

Hey yeah I see what you mean, its just that I couldn't see the change for looking! :-/ PS: Cheers so much for the changes to the images on my UserPage; I was just running a comparison to the previous editions and noticed HOW MUCH code you'd changed. Cheers! --Anthonycfc (Talk to Me) (sandbox) (E-Count) 17:14 17 Oct 2006 (UTC)

No problem, glad that it looks good :) —Xyrael / 20:55, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Congrats!

Hey, thanks for telling me about your barnstar - I'm glad to hear about it. Mostly I'm just proud that someone liked my layolut. :) Daveydweeb (chat/patch) 21:08, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] My RfA

Announcement: It's an administrator!

Anthony cfc, thanks for your support on my request for adminship.

The final outcome was a robust 62/1/1, so I am now an administrator. If you ever have any questions about my actions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks again, Chris Griswold

[edit] Your new Wikipediaholic Score

First of all, how did your score climb SO QUICKLY? How is it even possible to score that high if you're not Jimbo Wales? By the way, you made some errors in the ranking, like labelling 2nd as 2st, 3rd as 3nd, and 4th as 4rd. I have fixed them. AstroHurricane001 22:11, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome to the AMA!

Hello Anthony cfc, I see that you have decided to join the AMA. I'll be the first to say welcome! We're always in need of more advocates, especially since were backloged most of the time. Just a few pointers for what we do. We communicate by putting a template on our talk page. The template is AMA alerts (which you already have). The AMA also has it's own IRC channel which reports new cases to us, and also new alerts. If you'd like to jump right into a case, you can check out WP:AMARQ, which is our new request for advocacy system. The instructions for how the technical part works is on the talk page. You can also use the AMA userboxes that appear under here. If you have anymore questions about the organization, just ping any advocates talk page, including our coordinator, Steve. Again, welcome to the AMA! -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk) 05:27, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Mind if I work with you on this?--Amerique 02:48, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
No probs Anthony 10:33, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I meant the Seraphimblade case. I'll follow your lead on it. Let me know if I can assist at all.--Amerique 23:07, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
I'll e-mail you with the details; it looks like Seraphimblade is in the right with regards to the Google Bomb article. --Anthonycfc (talkcama) Sunday, 22/Oct/2006 (UTC)

[edit] Advocacy request-Seraphimblade

Hello, and thank you for offering to take this case. I was just seeking advice on a content dispute, I have not generally been engaged in such before and don't want to step over any lines unintentionally. The case is undergoing mediation now and the mediator thus far has been quite helpful.

I would like to ask a few questions privately, and will email them to you. Seraphimblade 09:46, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Ocd.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Ocd.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --Durin 13:34, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you for supporting my RfA

Thank you for supporting my RfA that I have passed with 73/2/1.--Jusjih 10:09, 27 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] subst

Please add the subst prefix to the date templates in your signature so that when you sign comments, the date and time you leave the message is displayed instead of the current time and date. Thanks. jd || talk || 14:28, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi there. Thanks again for the reminder. Don't mean to be a nag, but you did tell me this previously and I do add subst prefixes to my date template. However it may be I left it out. Would you mind giving me a reference? Thanks. Anthony.
Your signature currently looks like this:
<font color="#000080">Anthon</font><font color="#000080"><font color="#008000">y</font><font color="#000080"><font color="#000080">cfc</font> <font color="#000080">(<font color="#000080">talk</font> • <font color="#000080">email</font>) <small>CURRENTTIME, CURRENTDAYNAME CURRENTMONTHNAME CURRENTDAY CURRENTYEAR (UTC)</small>
You need to change it to this:
<font color="#000080">Anthon</font><font color="#000080"><font color="#008000">y</font><font color="#000080"><font color="#000080">cfc</font> <font color="#000080">(<font color="#000080">talk</font> • <font color="#000080">email</font>) <small>, (UTC)</small>
This needs to replace the code currently in your preferences. jd || talk || 14:48, 29 October 2006 (UTC)
