[edit] History

After releasing a couple of low key singles in 1999, ANT released his first mini album, the five-track CD EP Cures for Broken Hearts in 2000 on English label Fortune and Glory. Having picked up air play from John Peel on Radio 1 with his first 3 releases, ANT then recorded a 4 song session for the John Peel show.

ANT's debut solo album A Long Way to Blow a Kiss was released in 2002 also on Fortune and Glory Records.

ANT signed a deal with Italian label Homesleep Records in 2003 who released ANT's second mini album Floating on the Breeze.

ANT returned to Fortune and Glory Records to release his compilation album Sad to See It's Morning in 2004, featuring all the singles and B-sides and rarities ANT had released up to that point.

In 2005 ANT collaborated once again with Hefner band-mate Darren Hayman, providing acoustic guitar, backing vocals and percussion on the track The Light In Her Room on Darren's solo EP Cortinaland.

Today ANT lives in Malmö, Sweden, and his second solo album, Footprints Through the Snow was released in March 2006 on Homesleep Records. ANT also recorded a 4 song session for BBC6's Tom Robinson show in March 2006.

ANT is currently working on a 5 song mini album/EP for cult Spanish label Acuarela Discos due out in 2007.
