Anthony O. Calabrese

Anthony Orlando Calabrese I was an American politician of the Democratic party who served as a member of the Ohio Senate.

Calabrese, born as Orlando Anthony Calabrese, worked as a bouncer in a Cleveland, Ohio, nightclub. He reversed the order of his given names and ran successfully for a seat in the Ohio Senate.

In 1970, Calabrese was the Democratic nominee for the office of Lieutenant Governor of Ohio.

Calabrese's son, Anthony O. Calabrese Jr., is an Ohio jurist.
