Anthony McFarland

Anthony "Booger" McFarland (born December 18, 1977 in Winnsboro, Louisiana) is an American football defensive tackle for the NFL's Indianapolis Colts.

He attended Louisiana State University. Since McFarland has entered the league, Tampa Bay's defense has been ranked in the Top 10 in the NFL in total defense. McFarland was drafted in the first-round (15th overall) by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 1999 NFL Draft. The Indianapolis Colts acquired McFarland in a trade (October 17th 2006) with the Buccaneers. He was traded for a second round draft pick in the 2007 draft.

So far, McFarland has had 251 career tackles, with 18 quarterback sacks, and has played in 78 career games with 64 starts.

McFarland was traded to the Indianapolis Colts for a 2007 second-round draft pick.
