Anthony J. Gentile was president of the Broward Teachers Union from 1979 until 2001, when, on July 26 of that year, he was arrested on charges of computer child pornography. [1] On February 8, 2002, having previously pled guilty, he was sentenced to a prison term of 46 months. [2]
