Anthony Farquhar (Bishop)

The Most Reverand Anthony Farquhar D.D. (born 1940) is Roman Catholic titular Bishop of Ermiana and auxiliary Bishop of the diocese of Down & Connor. He was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

He was ordained to the priesthood in 1965. In 1983, he was appointed titular Bishop of Ermiana and Auxiliary Bishop of Down & Connor. The Principal Consecrator was the Bishop of Down and Connor, Cahal Daly, (now Cardinal Archbishop Emeritus of Armagh) and Principal Co-Consecrators were Archbishop Gaetano Alibrandi (The Papal Nuncio) and Bishop William J. Philbin (Bishop Emeritus of Down and Connor).
