Anthony Cooke

Sir Anthony Cooke 1505/1506 – 11 June 1576) an eminent scholar, tutor to women and to Edward VI.
(c.Of his daughters, Mildred (1526–1589), the eldest, was married to Lord Burghley and the second daughter, Anne (1528 - 1610), married Sir Nicholas Bacon, and became the mother of Francis Bacon.
