I do a TON of work on redirects and thus do not always check "What links here" when no article exists yet on a subject. Even if I had, though, I would still at the time have made the redirect, with my reasoning being as follows:
At the time I made the redirect, no Eric Larson article existed. So I redirected to Erik Larson, because the comic book artist's name is commonly misspelled as Erik. That was the correct decision at the time. I do not know anything about the Disney animator and cannot write an article about him. Once someone knowledgeable about Eric Larson (such as you) came along, you were able to change that redirect into an article, and not only that, but the redirect alerted you to another person with a very similar name and thus alerted to the need for a disambig message at the top of the article, which you nicely added. So, see, the redirect was good in the long run.
Anyway, thanks for writing up the article. Keep contributing to Wikipedia!

When an article is suspected of being a copyright violation, the text is removed (as explained in the template material, and in the copyvio instructions); it's still available in the history. [edit] Phantom & Gaming Horizon
I would like to add a link to this article I helped compile for Gaming Horizon on the The Phantom (game system) article. (Older version of the same article was previously listed there, removed by yourself, thus this inquiry).
If I just go and add it, I'd probably look like a jackhole (what with the me and GH articles being deemed non-notable and vanity and evil and zestfully unclean). So, I'm asking if you think it would be ok. I want the link to go on the article page because it's a pretty inclusive summary of the dumb thing's history. If I were to post it, I'd probably do so in External Links and wouldn't mention myself.

Sorry but as WP:RM#Relevant policies and guidelines says: Requested moves is not the proper place to request renaming images or categories..I think that what you need to do is create the category you want. Alter the category listings in the article to point to the new category. To delete the old one see Wikipedia:Categories for deletion Philip Baird Shearer 07:41, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)
