The Annual Register (originally subtitled "A View of the History, Politicks and Literature of the Year ...") is a chronicle of British and world history published annually since 1758. It was founded by Edmund Burke (who was its editor for many years) and Robert Dodsley and has had many different publishers since.

The 1776 issue (printed in 1777) contains the first British printing (in book form) of the US Declaration of Independence.
