Anime South is an anime convention starting in 2005. It is an annual three-day event held over a weekend in Destin, Florida, part of the Florida panhandle.

The convention features cosplay, American voice actors from anime, artists, vendors and exhibits, panels, workshops, and gaming. Anime South's events focus on aspects of anime, manga, video games, and Japanese culture. With the popularity of anime and manga increasing in the United States, anime conventions have seen tremendous growth, with Anime South being the only anime convention in the northwest Florida region (including lower Alabama and eastern Mississippi).

The first annual convention occurred between November 18th through November 20th, 2005. The 2006 convention is currently scheduled for November 3rd through 5th.
