Category talk:Angel (series) characters
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I've just moved a handful of character pages (and hyperlinks to pages that don't yet exist, like Connor (Buffyverse)). It seems like a deeply bad idea for characters who only have one name to be the target of an article, rather than a disambiguation page to be there, unless the name can be guaranteed to be unique (Sahjhan, for example); take a look at my comments on Talk:Lorne and the "what links there" link to see my point.
Having just moved (eg) Doyle → Allan Francis Doyle and Illyria (Buffyverse) → Illyria (Buffyverse) and replaced the originals with disambiguation pages or redirects, as appropriate, it occurs to me that the nomenclature I chose wasn't great. In retrospect, I think I should have made them be character name (Angel character)
or some such, rather than character name (Angel)
, which I chose simply by analogy to Spike (Buffyverse) etc.
What do people think? Is there a naming standard on this, throughout Wikipedia? — OwenBlacker 00:31, Jun 28, 2004 (UTC)
