Angus Robertson, born 28 September 1969, Wimbledon, London, England, is a Scottish politician. He is the Scottish National Party (SNP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Moray, Scotland, first elected in 2001.

He was born to a Scottish father and German mother, and was educated at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, gaining a degree in politics and international relations.

Before his election in May 2001, he worked as a journalist, most notably as a central European diplomatic correspondent for the BBC.

He is the SNP's spokesman on Defence and International Relations, and has spoken in 26 debates in the last year — average amongst MPs.

Recently Mr. Robertson handed to Swiss Senator Dick Marty a report containing what Mr. Marty calls 'a detailed report of numerous suspect movements of aircraft transiting through Scotland' (see here). This report pertains to the American practice of Extraordinary Rendition.
