Anglophone Canadians

The term Anglophone Canadian refers to anyone from Canada who speaks English as a native language. The term is often contrasted with the term Francophone Canadian, referring to anyone from Canada who speaks French as a native language. In Canada the terms used are simply Anglophone and Francophone. English-speaking Canadians are the predominant group in most of Canada outside Quebec, although French-speaking areas are scattered throughout the country.
