Anglo-Maratha Wars

The Anglo-Maratha Wars were three wars fought in India between the Maratha Empire and the British East India Company.
- First Anglo-Maratha War (1777-1783)
- Second Anglo-Maratha War (1803-1805)
- Third Anglo-Maratha War, also known as the Pindari War (1817-1818)
The conclusion of the Anglo-Maratha Wars resulted in the disintegration of the Maratha Empire, and left the British in control of most of present-day India.
