Anglo-American School of Moscow

The Anglo-American School of Moscow in Moscow, Russia, is run by the American, British and Canadian embassies. Originally intended for the children of their own diplomats, the school is now open to the children of diplomats, businessmen, and others. It covers the full age range from ages 3 to 18. It was founded in 1949 and is located on a wooded campus in North West Moscow. There are over 1,100 pupils.
First priority is given to the children of American, British and Canadian diplomats, second priority is given to children who are American, British, Canadian, Australian or New Zealand citizens or who have a parent who is. Any remaining places are available to any child who meets the general admission requirements, while limiting to 15% the number of students from any one country except the US, UK and Canada.
The school offers the International Baccalaureate.
