[edit] The Neighborhood
Angelino Heights is the oldest district in Los Angeles outside of downtown. Founded in 1886, it was originally connected to downtown by streetcar. Like Echo Park and Chinatown, it is known for its steep hills. The district contains several notable examples of Victorian architecture, especially on Carroll Avenue. One of these residences, served as the house used for the TV show "Charmed", used in the show as a San Francisco Victorian residence.
